BH Fitness elliptical trainers are made by the large US fitness company of the same name, in fact, they only make models under this brand name and for no one else.
They are one of the world's largest fitness manufactures established in the 1960's and initially designed and made equipment for the commercial market - there wasn't much of a home market back then!
They have a good reputation for innovative features built into reliable, quality machines. Their designs are certainly quite eye-catching compared to many run-of-the-mill home fitness machines.
They export all over the world to both home and commercial markets and can claim to be one of the few sports equipment companies to be certified in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. For us this means we can buy their machines and be assured that it's passed rigorous testing. In fact the whole process of design, manufacture, export, delivery and on-going customer service will run like clockwork!
We've tried a few of their trainers to date and we have to admit we love them - see below.
The BH Fitness elliptical trainers are aimed at the highly competitive mid-price range market with prices starting at around £200 up to about £700. All BH Fitness elliptical trainers come with a lifetime frame warranty, five years on all parts and one year labour.

We've also put links to Amazon and eBay so you can search for a better price with them - but always check the delivery cost! What can appear cheaper initially doesn't always turn out
to be a bargain once you add on the postage.

Our view - an excellent trainer, it's one of the lowest priced models with pulse sensors in the training handles so you don't have to take your hands off. But note it doesn't come with any pre-set programmes.

Our view - another winner from BH Fitness, quality feel, great looks and a good selection of programmes. The ability to adjust the pedal positions is very useful if more than one person will be using the trainer.

Our view - similar specific to the Ocean above with the addition of a built-in Polar chip for use with a chest strap. The X-Flex refers to the foot plates which are flexible, some like this action others may not. However, we know of one user where the footplates cracked even though he was well under the recommended maximum weight limit of 150kg. We're not sure as yet if this is just one 'bad egg' - we'll keep you posted if we hear of others. Both models have pulse sensors in the moving handles but these cannot be as accurate as the chest strap so this may be a better option for the heart rate and recovery programmes.

Our view - a high tech model that oozes quality. You can programme in your own workout or use one of the 12 pre-set ones including a fat burning heart rate controlled session. It's very smooth and quiet in operation, great programmes, and with a recent reduction in the price we believe it's excellent value for money.

Our view - BH Fitness do make it very difficult to choose just one of their trainers. This is yet another superb machine with some excellent features and programmes. It has a great console with easy-to-read programme information, control buttons and a built-in fan (which is actually quite useful compared to most). It's easy to move around thanks to built-in transport wheels and a weight of just 55kg. It's attractive, hi-tech design is quite eye-catching and with a performance to match it's well worth a look.
